Susan is a committed teacher. She studied at the University of Guayaquil and obtained her TEFL Certificate at Casa Grande University.

He has worked as an English teacher for twelve years and as a coordinator for two years. He is currently working in COPEI and he is a teacher at Universidad Agraria del Ecuador.

Session Titles
Online classes have become part of our new reality. It can be quite difficult to see the students’ results through a screen, but not necessarily impossible. Class participation, cooperative learning, role play activities are very likely to happen in the virtual class.
We just need to provide the appropriate motivation through different online games during class time to reinforce knowledge and increase students’ participation.

Bringing joy and engagement to online classes can become a challenging situation for the teaching staff. Integrating gamification into our educational context provides opportunities for teachers to overcome this difficulty.

The presentation will examine different items addressing a student’s point of view, opinions and complaints throughout an English class.
Ideas will be analyzed and presented together with practical solutions to increase teacher’s awareness of student’s necessities while planning classes and choosing adequate resources.
